Crack open a cold one!

Asheville is known as “Dog City USA” and many breweries and bars are welcoming patrons’ furry friends in the wake of city and state laws allowing dogs on patios at bars and restaurants. There’s no better place for a  novelty product like Scooby Brew Dog Beer to get it’s start with the next best thing to getting drunk with your dog: dog beer.

We don’t like choosing between hanging out with our dogs and going out with friends for happy hour. So we decided to make something that would allow animal lovers to hang out–and crack a cold one with their pup!

A high-quality, nutritious treat

The Story Behind the Brew

We created Scooby Brew after our senior dog, Hershey, started having a decreased appetite and difficulty eating as he was dealing with chronic health issues. Adding beef bone broth to his food was a tasty way to help stimulate his appetite, keep him hydrated and pack in the essential nutrients he needed without further upsetting his delicate stomach. His life inspired us to help other dogs with every purchase. Scooby Brew has been formulated with the finest human-grade ingredients.

Scooby-Brew can be enjoyed warm or cold, on its own as a nutritious drink or snack, or as a supplement to your dog’s dry food. Many pet owners use it to reconstitute dehydrated food.

About Our Founder

Scooby Brew was hatched by founder, Jeremiah Robinson – Asheville Native and Petpreneur

As the current Entrepreneur in Residence for Mountain BizWorks, Jeremiah advocates on behalf of the local BIPOC entrepreneurial community to disrupt traditional lending practices that often prevent the building up of generational wealth. He has assisted over 100 entrepreneurs by working to creatively re-design equitable access to financial capital as well as the appropriate social support.

He also founded the Yoruba Network – a grassroots project, started in Asheville, NC which is offered as a free resource to the community.  Ultimately, the vision of Yoruba is to create a way for Black business owners to increase their exposure on the web completely free of charge.
